The Rules
Rules and Regulations of Challenge :
- Each member is to choose a quilt theme (written on a piece of paper with their name, and thrown in to the “hat”).
- Names and themes will then be drawn out of the hat at random.
- Each member is then required to construct a theme quilt block in the order drawn and within the time frame stipulated.
- Each block is to measure 12 ½ inches x 12 ½ inches unfinished (finished 12” x 12”).
- You are required to sandwich each block and don’t forget to “quilt as desired”, but do not bind.
- Stitch a label to the back of your block with your name and the special name you have chosen for your block.
- After the completion of all quilt blocks, each member will be presented with all the blocks of their chosen theme.
- Initially there will be a 2 month time frame allowed for completion of each theme block. This rule may be reviewed and varied at an extraordinary meeting.
- Any member who fails to conform to the above rule No. 8 will receive a penalty of one fat quarter (please, no fat flats!!). This fat quarter is to be given to the theme provider.

What an amazing collection of work. They are so varied. Can I ask who did the top 3? I love the first one, such a nostalgic feel about it.
